Jim Blaszak launched his career in 1962 as a real estate title examiner and progressed to become the company’s branch manager. This early experience gave him the foundation and knowledge to establish his own title insurance company.

Jim is a former Law Director for the City of Elyria. He also served the city in administrative capacities including roles as chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals, member of the Board of Building Standards, and a member of the Parks and Recreation Board.
Today, Jim has been practicing law for more than 50 years. The Ohio Bar Association honored Jim for this achievement. Jim joined Gembala, McLaughlin & Pecora in January 2024 to initiate and lead the firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution practice group.
